What this notice covers

This notice covers the Buyy.in preview at buyy.co.in, including browsing, customer accounts and contact, maker, partner and business-enquiry forms. It describes the current website; services such as live payments will require an updated notice before they are activated.

Information we collect

We collect the information you choose to submit, such as your name, email, phone number, location, product or business information, portfolio link and message. Required fields are marked on the form. If you create an account, the website also stores the information needed to provide that account.

The website and its hosting, security and analytics services may process technical information such as an IP address, browser, device, pages viewed and service logs. Cookies and similar technologies are explained in our Cookie Policy.

Please do not include identity documents, banking details, passwords or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry. No card payments are collected on the preview.

How we use information

We use enquiry details to understand and respond to your request, assess a proposed partnership, maintain the correspondence and manage support. Account details support account functions. Technical information helps operate, secure and understand the use of the website.

Consent to process an enquiry is not permission to send marketing. A marketing subscription, if introduced, will be requested separately.

Storage, access and service providers

Enquiries are stored in the website database and available through the administrator area; they are not published as public profiles. Submitting a maker or partner form does not grant seller access or make the information public.

We use service providers for website hosting, security, cookies and website functionality. WordPress, WooCommerce and enabled services, including Jetpack by Automattic, may process information needed for their functions. Providers may operate systems in different locations under their own applicable terms.

Enquiry records are not automatically forwarded to product suppliers by the current form workflow. Automatic enquiry email confirmation is not currently enabled. Any future sharing needed for order fulfilment will be reflected in this notice before that service is activated.

Keeping and protecting information

We retain information as needed for the relevant enquiry, account, support or lawful record-keeping purpose, and review requests to correct or delete it. Some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute.

Access controls and website security measures help protect records. No online service can guarantee absolute security; do not send information the enquiry does not require.

Your choices and requests

You can ask to access, correct or delete information you submitted, or withdraw consent for future enquiry processing, through Contact & Support. Include your enquiry reference where available. We may need to verify the request before changing or disclosing records.

Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully or records that must be retained for another lawful reason. Cookie settings can be reviewed through the cookie-preferences control on the website.

Children and third-party links

The website’s account, application and enquiry journeys are intended for adults. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can contact us to request a review.

A portfolio link, external website or embedded service may be subject to a different privacy notice. Review that notice before sharing information with the external service.

Updates and privacy concerns

We will update this notice as the website and its services change. For a privacy concern, use Contact & Support and mark the message “Privacy”. If it remains unresolved, use Support & Escalation.
